SOLDIER – 9:45pm

Birmingham band Soldier hit the Roots stage on the main support slot. No other London dates planned so don’t miss your chance to see them live.

“Soldier sound a bit like Supergrass and they’ve got really hooky tunes. The singer’s voice is something else and he’s pretty ballsy. I love his name too. He calls himself Scott Balboa, after Rocky. How cool is that?”
Lee Newell from Brother on his favourite new act – NME

Check out Soldier’s Music Glue site…
– FREE downloads of ‘Broken Bones’ + ‘Lifeline’

HOWLIN’ CIRCUS – 9pmcus

We’ve been chasing this band for a while now and have finally got them onto the Roots stage!

“Conjuring images of cattle ranching in the Summer, Howlin’ Circus combine raucous guitars with melodic vocals, tales of trepidation and unexpected harmonies…
it is in this era of instant gratification that the band, inspired by generations of emotion and energy, is bound to leave a lasting impression on the heart.”

THE 335 – 8:15pmp

Rock n Roll legendary London 3 piece THE 335 open the show so get down early.

‘This is Raw Rock n Roll at its most organic level’

“The 335 are great!”

We continue to support Bibelots, they always put on the best shows and we can’t rate them enough, they get better and better with each performance. They are currently on their UK tour and have just released their ‘No other way out’ EP available on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify

“Stand-out-track No Other Way Out showcases their incongruous sound – heavy-electro-synth-indie…we know that’s not a genre but we suggest it should be.” Shortlist Magazine

Check out their video below for ‘Already in the Blood’ it’s a beaut!

SuperEvolver have teamed up with Kasabian front man Tom Meighan to release a charity single ‘Viva la revolution’ . All proceeds go to Harley Staples Cancer Trust and UNICEF’s Pakistan Flood Children’s Appeal. We are looking forward to having these guys play for us at Roots.
